Year 11 Intervention Sessions

INTERVENTION BURST 1 kicks off today, targeting 156 students for Science, Maths, and History sessions.

We are running a 4-week burst of intervention for Y11 students in the lead up to half-term and then their first set of mock exams (starting on Tuesday 4^th November).

All students have access to intervention sessions with a large proportion targeted for specific sessions based on their current performance and aspirations.

Staff are really pumped up to get this kicked-off – snacks are available for the after-school sessions, which run to 4.30pm.

We have also taken on board feedback from last year’s Y11 students and opened a free revision space which is F16, open on Monday to 4:30pm and Thursday to 5pm – staffed by Mrs Croft and Mrs Stirzaker – allowing students access to online resources to complete work in a quiet space and also offering support with any CVs, applications and college research.

There will be rewards and prize draws for attendance to interventions which the students will find out about this week.
